Napa Valley is home to some of the best wineries in the world, and Carneros Resort is in the heart of it all. Just a few minutes from Napa downtown and numerous wineries, Carneros has a prime location for both relaxation and exploration alike. The Resort features both an adults-only swimming pool as well as a family pool, full gym and a host of other amenities any discerning traveler is looking for in a luxury vacation. In this video, we’ll cover our favorite facilities, thoughts on the rooms and you won’t want to miss the room tour of two of the beautiful cottages available!

One of our favorite features of the resort was the outdoor space. Not only do you have a stunning interior, but the ability to open up the entire wall of your bedroom to the outside allows you to enjoy the crisp evening air. Complete with heat lamps, firepits and even (in some cases) an outdoor tub, you won’t want to leave.

There’s so much to do and explore on property, that we found it almost impossible to leave! With three restaurants, two pools, live music, a spa and free yoga classes, we spent our days lounging around and hanging by the pool or on our patio. Of all the properties we have stayed at in and around Napa, we found this to be the most “private” in terms of accommodations. We loved the outdoor patio as well as the fact that you cannot see your neighbors.

Dining is a must-do on property as well. The food is excellent, farm-to-table and really blew our minds. Make sure to eat breakfast at the private, guest-only restaurant on the hilltop for an epic experience watching the sun rise over the vineyards.
